Challenge Manufacturing is seeking a first shift operator at our Northlake, TX plant. You will set up and operate resistance spot welders and power press equipment to weld, trim, punch, shape, notch, draw, or crimp metal, composite, or plastic stock.

Qualifications

• Understands and explains Quality Management System concepts.
• Able to perform problem solving analysis and logging of non-conformances.

Responsibilities

• Understands the Quality Policy and how the role impacts customer satisfaction.
• Identifies quality non-conformances and supports corrective actions.
• Performs housekeeping and keeps work area clean and organized.
• Observes safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements at all times.
• Ensures materials are ready and placed against fixtures or stops on the machine bed.
• Starts press and monitors operation for misalignment or malfunctions.
• Inspects parts for conformance to specifications and communicates issues to leaders.
