Position Summary

LINX is hiring an Employee Housing Coordinator to take full ownership of day-to-day employee housing operations for our project crews, paying $36.00 to $39.00 an hour (depending on experience).

This role is the single point of accountability for safe, clean, well-maintained housing: facility conditions, landlord and vendor relationships, resident conduct, and property accountability. You'll proactively resolve issues before they reach Project Operations leadership, acting as the primary on-site contact for landlords, property managers, and vendors, and holding them to their lease commitments.

Key Responsibilities
Resident Operations & Conduct
  • Manage arrivals, orientations, room assignments, rosters, guest approvals, occupancy, and departures
  • Communicate and consistently enforce LINX housing policies, maintaining an onsite presence during assigned peak hours
  • Address resident concerns fairly, de-escalate conflict, document incidents, and promptly refer serious misconduct or safety concerns to HR and Project Operations
Facility Operations
  • Routinely inspect units, kitchens, bathrooms, laundry and common areas, and grounds
  • Coordinate housekeeping, trash removal, pest control, and property upkeep
  • Coordinate essential repairs (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, internet, and appliances), tracking requests, owners, and deadlines, and verifying completion
Landlord & Vendor Accountability
  • Serve as the primary onsite contact for landlords, property managers, and vendors
  • Hold landlords and vendors accountable for maintenance, repairs, property conditions, and commitments under lease agreements, tracking resolution and escalating unresolved issues
Housing Readiness
  • Complete move-in and move-out inspections, and monitor available rooms, assignments, damages, and unit readiness
  • Coordinate cleaning and repairs between occupants
Reporting & Cost Control
  • Provide weekly Operations updates on occupancy, conditions, maintenance, and landlord concerns, and the corrective actions take.
  • Maintain accurate, secure records, and identify preventable costs
  • Follow LINX approval limits for vendor spending and repairs, and support approved HR communications and emergency escalation procedures

This job description outlines the general nature and level of work expected for this role. It is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities, or qualifications. The company reserves the right to modify job duties at any time based on business needs.

Qualifications
Required
  • 3+ years in employee housing, facilities or property operations, hospitality, site supervision, or a comparable role involving accountability and conflict resolution
  • Experience coordinating maintenance, vendors, or landlords, with strong follow-through, organizational skills, and practical judgment
  • Clear communication, fair policy enforcement, de-escalation, and accurate documentation skills
  • Proficiency with email and spreadsheets
  • Ability to protect confidential information
  • Availability for assigned evenings/weekends and defined on-call coverage
  • Ability to inspect and move between housing buildings, with or without reasonable accommodation
Preferred
  • Experience with remote workforce camps or multi-property employee housing
  • Experience on construction or industrial projects
  • Experience with maintenance and expense tracking
  • First aid/CPR, crisis response, or HR support experience
Authority & Safety Boundaries
  • May inspect housing, issue routine reminders, document incidents, and coordinate approved vendor work.
  • Must refer potential discipline and serious allegations to HR/leadership; may not independently terminate employment or investigate misconduct
  • Not authorized to carry weapons for LINX, search or seize property, use force, remove residents physically, or serve as security. Must call emergency services for violence, threats, or immediate danger
This Role Is Probably Not Right For You If
  • You're looking for a security or law enforcement role; this position cannot carry weapons, search or seize property, use force, or physically remove residents
  • You want to independently handle discipline or misconduct investigations; those must be referred to HR and Project Operations
  • You're not available for evening/weekend coverage and a defined on-call rotation
