Job summary

LINX is hiring a Safety Coordinator to maintain daily on-site safety across hyperscale data center projects nationwide. You will write JHA/PTSA, lead site inspections, investigate incidents, and train crews to stay compliant.

Reports to Safety Manager and collaborates with Project Managers to embed safety into daily operations. Role requires 5+ years of construction safety, OSHA 30, and relevant certifications; 100% travel with expenses covered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of safety experience in construction projects.
• OSHA regulations knowledge and enforcing site safety.
• Ability to develop Job Hazard Analyses (JHA) and Pre-Task Safety Analyses (PTSA).
• Strong written and verbal communication with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Salary Range: $35.00 To $45.00 Hourly

Travel Requirement: 100% full-time travel to (Project Location) covering project sites nationwide. All travel expenses covered by the company and per diem is paid.

LINX is hiring a Safety Coordinator to maintain a daily on-site safety presence across active hyperscale data center construction projects nationwide, paying $35.00 to $45.00 an hour.

You'll be the safety authority on the ground: writing Job Hazard Analyses and Pre-Task Safety Analyses, running site inspections, investigating incidents, and training crews on the standards that keep a live construction site compliant. You report to the Safety Manager and work directly with Project Managers and crews to keep safety built into daily operations, not bolted on after the fact.

What You'll Be Doing

Safety Program Management

• Implement and maintain safety policies, procedures, and programs specific to data center construction
• Create and manage Job Hazard Analyses (JHA) and Pre-Task Safety Analyses (PTSA) for active work scopes
• Maintain a daily on-site presence during normal construction hours

Compliance & Inspection

• Ensure adherence to OSHA and local safety regulations, and conduct regular job site inspections
• Monitor proper PPE usage and ensure safety equipment is maintained and available
• Investigate accidents, near-misses, and hazards, and recommend corrective actions
• Serve as the primary safety contact on site, reporting incidents and maintaining documentation
• Provide safety training and ensure workers meet required certifications before starting work
• Work directly with Project Managers and crews to integrate safety into daily operations
• 5+ years of relevant safety experience in construction
• OSHA 30 certification
• Bachelor's degree in Safety or o ne of the following certifications: STSC (Safety Trained Supervisor for Construction), CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician), or CSP (Certified Safety Professional)
• Ability to proficiently develop a Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and Pre-Task Safety Analysis (PTSA)
• Proven experience in on-the-job safety adherence and regulatory compliance
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Highly structured with strong attention to detail
• Available for 100% travel to project sites nationwide (all travel expenses covered)
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and ability to pass a background check and drug screen

This Role Is Probably Not Right For You If

• You've never written a JHA or PTSA, or run a site safety inspection yourself, this isn't an entry point into construction safety
• You're not comfortable being on the road constantly — this is a 100% travel position with typical trips home about once a month while a project is active

Preferred (Not Required)

• Bachelor's degree in Safety , Occupational Health, Construction Management, or a related field
• OSHA 510 or OSHA 500
• STSC (Safety Trained Supervisor for Construction) and/or CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician)
• NFPA 70E
• Fall Protection Competency
• Confined Space Competency
• Bilingual, English and Spanish
• Experience in active data center operations
• Practical experience in network cabling, termination, and closet builds
• Ability to read construction drawings and implement cabling pathways

Pay Rate: $35.00 to $45.00/hour, depending on experience
