Employee Experience Specialist
Position Summary
We are seeking a proactive and people-focused Employee Experience Specialist to support employee engagement, recruiting, onboarding, performance management, compliance, and people operations. This role partners with leaders and employees to create a positive workplace culture, improve the employee experience, and ensure consistent HR practices across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Experience & Engagement
- Coordinate employee recognition, engagement, and culture initiatives.
- Gather employee feedback through surveys and recommend improvements.
- Support communication and programs that strengthen employee satisfaction and retention.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Manage recruiting activities, including job postings, candidate coordination, and interview scheduling.
- Partner with hiring managers throughout the hiring process.
- Lead onboarding activities to ensure a positive and successful new hire experience.
Performance & Development
- Support performance review processes and employee development initiatives.
- Track training completion and identify development opportunities.
- Provide guidance and resources to managers on employee growth and performance.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Maintain employee records and HR systems with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Support benefits, leave administration, onboarding, offboarding, and employee changes.
- Assist with compliance, policy updates, and documentation management.
Employee Relations
- Serve as a resource for employee questions and workplace concerns.
- Support investigations, documentation, and policy interpretation.
- Promote a professional, respectful, and inclusive work environment.
Process Improvement & Analytics
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and employee experience programs.
- Track key workforce metrics and prepare reports for leadership.
- Support the use of technology, automation, and AI tools to improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
- 3-5+ years of experience in HR, Employee Experience, People Operations, or a related field.
- Experience with recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and performance management.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Experience with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
- HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar) is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Regular use of a computer, phone, and video conferencing tools.
- Occasional walking throughout office or operational facilities.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
