Job summary

The City of Richmond is seeking an Employee Experience Consultant within the Human Resources Department. This role supports designing and implementing engagement initiatives that uplift culture and performance across the organization, from onboarding through offboarding.

Responsibilities include executing engagement programs, providing data-driven insights, coordinating events, and aiding in performance management and recognition efforts to advance a positive employee lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
• Two to four years of experience in human resources, employee engagement, organizational development, or a related field.
• Experience supporting programs related to employee engagement, onboarding, performance management, or culture initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Support design and improvement of employee experience initiatives across the organization.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes and new hire orientation.
• Support a modern performance management system and evaluation process.
• Help develop recognition programs aligned with values and culture.
• Collect and analyze employee experience metrics and create dashboards.
• Collaborate with HR Partners and other HR teams to align initiatives.
