Job summary

The City of Richmond seeks an Employee Experience Consultant to design and implement engaging programs across the employee lifecycle. You will partner with the Employee Experience Manager to elevate culture, engagement, and retention while balancing strategic and hands-on execution.

Responsibilities include onboarding, offboarding, performance management, and recognition initiatives, with a focus on data-driven improvements and inclusive practices that support the City's mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field
• 2–4 years in HR, employee engagement, organizational development, or related field
• Experience supporting programs related to employee engagement, onboarding, performance management, or culture initiatives

Responsibilities

• Support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of employee experience initiatives
• Assist onboarding, offboarding, engagement, recognition, and performance management programs
• Collect, analyze, and report on employee experience metrics and trends
• Collaborate with HR partners and leadership to align programs with organizational goals
