Job summary

Cleveland Area Hospital is seeking an Employee Communications & Engagement Specialist to strengthen the employee experience through thoughtful engagement, recognition, and clear internal messaging.

You’ll partner with Human Resources, leadership, and departments to translate priorities into engaging communications, plan events, and foster a culture where employees feel seen, valued, and connected to the organization’s mission.

Qualifications

• Natural communicator who builds relationships across departments and levels.
• Proven ability to communicate clearly, professionally, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong initiative to identify opportunities and turn ideas into action.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support employee engagement initiatives to strengthen morale and belonging.
• Coordinate recognition programs, celebrations, and culture-building activities.
• Translate organizational priorities into clear internal communications.
• Partner with leadership to identify communication needs and craft appropriate messaging.
• Maintain a consistent voice across employee communications aligned with hospital brand.
• Plan and support employee-focused events and engagement initiatives.
