Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Communications Manager to support and deliver engaging employee communications for over 50,000 team members. The role blends strategy and execution, providing counsel and developing experiences that connect employees to the mission and values.

The ideal candidate brings a focus on storytelling, writing, and collaboration, with comfort in presenting to leaders and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of communications experience, with emphasis on employee communications and engagement.
• Ability to work collaboratively, independently and proactively while managing multiple priorities.
• Strong storytelling, writing, editing and creative thinking skills for diverse formats.
• Experience creating visual content to support communications and engagement.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills to engage leaders and employees.
• Proficiency with employee communication tools including Microsoft 365, SharePoint and Engage.

Responsibilities

• Support execution of communication strategies with executive leaders and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop compelling internal communications.
• Provide communications counsel to HR partners and leadership.
• Host activations and experiences that build pride and mission alignment.
• Develop and manage content across internal channels (email, intranet, newsletters).
• Monitor communications effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities.
• Manage multiple projects with deadlines and high-quality standards.
