Job summary

Hyper Solutions in Richmond, VA is seeking an Employee Culture & Engagement Specialist to design and deliver programs that create a welcoming, informed, connected, recognized, and engaged employee journey. You will partner with HR and leaders to shape onboarding and engagement initiatives, develop communications, and drive culture-building across the organization.

Excellent written and verbal communication.
Strong presentation development and public speaking.
Highly organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple projects with strong attention to detail.
Creative and resourceful, with the ability to transform ideas into engaging employee experiences.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
Comfortable taking ownership, working independently, and building new programs from the ground up.
Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, growing organization.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint.
Positive, approachable, and passionate about creating an outstanding employee experience.

Responsibilities

Create an engaging, welcoming, and memorable employee experience from first day through the first year and beyond.
Design programs that strengthen employee engagement, connection, and sense of belonging.
Develop initiatives that reinforce Hyper's values and culture as the company grows.
Serve as a visible ambassador for Hyper's culture across the organization.
Partner with HR and business leaders to create a best-in-class onboarding experience.
Develop onboarding presentations, communications, and learning materials that explain Hyper's products, organization, and culture.
Coordinate first-year touchpoints and engagement activities to help new employees integrate.
Collaborate with HR to support a seamless transition from candidate to engaged employee.
Plan and execute employee events, celebrations, and culture-building initiatives.
Support employee recognition programs and celebrate individual and team accomplishments.
Develop engagement initiatives that foster cross-department collaboration.
Assist in administering employee engagement surveys and implement action plans from feedback.
Create an outstanding experience for interns, university hires, and rotational program participants.
Coordinate networking events and program communications for early-career employees.
Build relationships with early-career employees and business leaders; strengthen university recruiting.
