Job summary

Carleton College seeks an Employee Experience Manager to lead staff development, performance management, and engagement initiatives campus-wide. You will partner with managers, provide expert guidance on professional growth, and help cultivate a welcoming culture while advancing HR programs.

The role reports to the Director of Human Resources, supervises one staff member, and demands 5+ years of progressive HR experience with training design and compliance knowledge. A BA/BS is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive, full-time professional HR experience with demonstrated experience in training design and performance management systems.
• Proven expertise in organizational management, and employment law/compliance.
• Demonstrated experience supporting and promoting a diverse workforce.
• Strong analytical, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Staff Orientation, Training & Development: Design, execute, and oversee College-wide learning, professional development, and training programs.
• Performance Management: Coordinate and refine the College's performance appraisal, review, and ongoing feedback mechanisms.
• Employee Engagement: Analyze engagement data, surveys, stay interviews, and exit interviews to identify trends and implement improvements.
• Additional responsibilities: Maintain HR webpage and materials; collaborate with partners; support broader HR initiatives.
