Job summary

Goodwill Greater Milwaukee & Chicago is seeking an Employee Experience Manager to oversee recruitment, development, and store productivity while ensuring sales and margin targets are met. The role covers back-of-house operations, onboarding, and online training compliance.

You will lead talent initiatives, analyze data, communicate policies, and coach teams to deliver customer-focused service in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of college education or equivalent experience, and a minimum of 5 years experience.
• Forklift certification, if required at site.
• Varied schedule with at least two closing shifts per week and alternating weekends.
• Must have a working phone for communication accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Focus on production goals while maximizing donation value and store margins; coach employees as needed.
• Manage hiring and onboarding; regularly assess new hires and progress.
• Oversee hardline product rotation to maintain merchandise flow and availability.
• Support supervision of associates and ensure adequate donation/ POS coverage.
• Ensure online training completion; monitor performance and provide feedback.
• Enter reports on time; monitor data accuracy and coach as needed.
• Analyze data to identify trends; provide actionable insights to leadership.
• Communicate policies clearly; maintain channels and update boards.
• Monitor sales floor for compliance with standards and safety guidelines.
• Recognize strengths and delegate challenging work to boost development.
• Lead and develop talent; partner with coworkers on development.
• Participate in projects; balance project work with routine responsibilities.
• Problem solve with light supervision and independent work.
• Apply advanced professional knowledge and practices in the field.
• Champion community engagement and participate in volunteer opportunities.
• Complete other assigned duties as needed.
