Job summary

Goodwill Greater Milwaukee & Chicago is hiring an Assistant Store Manager- Employee Experience to lead recruitment, onboarding, and development in our Bartlett, IL store. You will drive store productivity, manage back-of-house operations, and oversee the hardlines section on the sales floor while ensuring compliance with training programs.

Responsibilities include coaching employees, monitoring data-driven performance, and communicating policies.

Qualifications

• Two years of college education or experience equivalency.
• Minimum of 5 years experience.
• Forklift certification, if required at site.
• Work varied schedule and flexible hours; at least two closing shifts per week and every other weekend as scheduled.
• Must have a working phone that allows for communication accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead hiring and onboarding for new hires.
• Manage back-of-house operations and hardlines product rotation.
• Coach employees to improve performance and satisfaction.
• Monitor store productivity and progress toward sales and margin targets.
