Job summary

Goodwill Greater Milwaukee & Chicago is seeking a Retail Supervisor to assist with supervision of store and donation center operations. You will motivate the team to meet customer satisfaction and production standards, supporting merchandising, and coaching engaging customer interactions.

The role involves planning, learning new processes, and coordinating staff to ensure a smooth operation with adequate coverage at POS and in donations.

Qualifications

• Two years of supervisory experience.
• Forklift certification required.
• Work varied schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Must have a working phone for communication access.

Responsibilities

• Project and Change Management: plans and manages own work to reliably complete routine responsibilities.
• Problem Solving: close supervision for routine tasks with detailed instructions when needed.
• Technical Skill: basic knowledge of customer service procedures and methods.
• Community Engagement: acts as an ambassador for Goodwill in the community and participates in volunteer opportunities.
• Maximize the value of donated goods and maintain store production standards.
• Coordinate proper rotation of goods to ensure a continuous flow of new merchandise.
