Job summary

Philadelphia Gas Works is seeking an Associate Business Partner for Employee Engagement to drive a culture of belonging and recognition. This role supports the Manager, Culture & Inclusion with initiatives across employee experience, events, and communications.

The incumbent will partner with HR and management to promote inclusion, lead engagement efforts, and implement data-based improvements while navigating a hybrid work environment after six months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Organizational Development or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of HR, employee relations, HR generalist experience, or related HR function with project leadership experience.
• Experience in supporting and/or leading employee engagement initiatives.
• Proven communication, time management and prioritization skills.
• Experience with labor relations; unionized environment preferred.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to foster belonging and inclusion.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Microsoft Office/OneDrive familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of engagement initiatives to enhance employee experience.
• Provide administrative and budgetary support to employee affinity groups and programs.
• Collaborate with HR and managers to advise on engagement, recognition and inclusion.
• Assist with data-based solutions and action planning from pulse surveys/focus groups.
• Manage committees, onboarding initiatives, and people-branding efforts.
• Collect and analyze data to report on recognition, culture, belonging, and inclusion.
