Job summary

Hermès US is offering a five-month Generation H internship within the Talent Development team in New York City. You will support employee engagement, internal communications, events, and recognition programs while gaining real-world experience alongside mentors and guest speakers.

The internship requires current enrollment in an undergraduate program (associates or bachelor’s) and a passion for human resources, with a structured, in-person experience and a fixed five-month duration from January

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program pursuing an Associate’s or a Bachelor’s degree in your junior or senior year (must be enrolled for the duration of the internship)
• Interest in a career in human resources, internal communications, or special events
• Recognize the value of diverse perspectives and cultures and actively seek to empower them
• Creative with strong written communication skills
• Teachable and an all-round team player
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Technologically competent and proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Responsibilities

• Partner on writing internal announcements and narrative editorials for our global employee-facing intranet site and digital signage system
• Assist with the maintenance of our local intranet site/app including publishing content and updating pages
• Support ideation, planning, and execution of internal employee events (invitations, catering, decor, setup/breakdown)
• Assist with management and execution of internal recognition programs (annual program, anniversary, digital board)
