Job summary

Intralox, part of Laitram, is seeking an Employee Development Specialist to shape behaviors and skills within our Continuous Improvement Team. You will help define a coordinated people strategy aligned with our culture and business goals, partnering with divisional leadership and employees.

You will design blended learning, support performance management, and coach employees to drive our continuous improvement mindset. This is an on-site role based in Harahan, LA.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Adult Education, Business, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in Human Resources and Training or Talent Development.
• Experience presenting topics on values, principles, soft skills, and strong influencing skills.
• Ability to translate abstract concepts into practical applications.
• Proven ability to collaborate with others and build trust across roles.
• Strong communication, planning, and organizational habits.
• Proficiency with MS Office, LMS, WebEx, and virtual meeting tools.

Responsibilities

• Partner with divisional leadership to build a comprehensive people strategy aligned with culture and goals.
• Design and deliver engaging training on business philosophy using blended learning and adult learning theory.
• Support managers with performance management, coaching, and development.
• Serve as a trusted coaching partner for employees and help with development and improvement plans.
• Conduct individual and small group meetings including onboarding check-ins and exit interviews.
• Lead continuous improvement teams to streamline processes and drive Operational Excellence.
• Act as HR liaison for benefits, recruiting, payroll, and employee relations questions.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and improve engagement and outcomes.
• Represent department on Continuous Improvement Advisory Teams and assist organizational design.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Divisional leadership and employees to build a comprehensive people strategy in line with our culture and business goals.


• Design and deliver engaging business philosophy training, including utilizing blended learning tools and adult learning theory to enhance the skills and guide thebehaviors of our employees, leads and supervisors.


• Work with managers and supervisors to help support direct reports with performance management, ongoing coaching, and development.


• Be a reliable “trust partner” for employees for coaching and support and partner with employees on development plans and performance improvement plans to support our continuous improvement mindset.

Requirements

• 7+ yrs. experience in Human Resources and Training and/or Talent Development.


• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Adult Education, Business, or related field.
