Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Communications professional to create employee content and help plan and execute internal programs. You will track metrics, develop communications plans, and distribute materials across channels including digital displays, emails, newsletters, and meetings.

The role partners with site leadership, HR, Ops, Safety, and other stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and supports engagement activities, events, and change management communications.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience desired.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Track and analyze metrics to measure internal communications effectiveness.
• Develop and execute communication plans supporting priorities and initiatives.
• Create and distribute employee communications across channels (digital displays, emails, newsletters, presentations, meetings).
• Partner with site leadership, HR, Operations, Safety to ensure messaging consistency.
• Support employee engagement, recognition programs, and site events.
• Coordinate content, schedules, and approvals to align with standards.
• Gather feedback and identify improvements in communication effectiveness.
• Assist with crisis, emergency, and change management communications as needed.
• Maintain communication boards and digital signage across sites.
