These are the fundamental components of the job:
- Heavily prospect, solicit, quote, and consult for new Benefit Insurance accounts.
- Generate new revenue through sales to new clients; may have a specific niche or concentration.
- Prepare and execute a business and production plan.
- Participate in securing RFPs, team sales, and cross-sell opportunities.
- Complete all required applications and documentation; obtain signed applications.
- The professional persona required includes facilitating or delivering presentations to C-Suite clients, maintaining positive internal and external business interactions, and managing productive relationships within this collaborative role.

Skills / traits valued for this role:
- Minimum of five (5) years of successful outside Benefit sales / production experience.
- Extensive sales and presentation skills with a customer-centric service focus.

- Relevant understanding of Employee Benefit products; training will be provided.
- Life and Health license; additional insurance designations preferred and supported by Lawley.
- Extensive computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Compensation is based on commissions. In some cases, an interim base salary may be offered, estimated between $84,000 and $141,000 plus commissions, depending on experience and potential book of business.
