Job summary

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of benefits account management experience, with Life and Health Insurance licensure preferred or required within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in benefits account management.
• Life and Health Insurance license preferred or required within 6 months of hire.
• Detail-oriented and organized; proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Function as a benefits expert regarding client management and plan design.
• Evaluate and develop employee benefit plan designs aligned with strategic goals for commercial lines.
• Manage RFP preparation, plan and marketing strategy, rate negotiation and contract provisions with vendors and underwriters.
• Oversee renewal processes and negotiate changes as needed.
• Prepare and develop pre-renewal, renewal, and quarterly meeting presentations.
• Present benchmarking analyses and reports to clients; propose solutions for healthcare reform changes.
• Coordinate open enrollment materials and other benefit communications.
• Ensure high levels of customer service and satisfaction for clients.
