Job summary

Frost Insurance Agency is seeking an Employee Benefits Account Manager to serve as the primary contact for employee benefits clients, overseeing renewal timelines, census gathering, and RFP preparation.

You will analyze policy details, provide recommendations to clients and producers, ensure regulatory compliance (ACA/HIPAA), and lead enrollment meetings on-site or at client locations with a focus on service excellence.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in insurance, healthcare, or HR, or a Bachelor's with 1+ year related experience.
• Ability to manage accounts up to $500,000 revenue and up to $10,000 annualized commissions per customer.
• Organizational skills and multitasking ability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead census data gathering for renewal and quote prep for assigned accounts.
• Review client/policy information to prepare Requests for Proposals.
• Present findings and recommendations to clients, Producers, and prospects.
• Review certificates of coverage and other materials for accuracy; escalate to carrier as needed.
• Research and resolve participant-related matters.
• Communicate plan administration documentation requirements and ensure ACA/HIPAA compliance.
• Maintain knowledge of healthcare changes and regulations to counsel clients.
• Oversee internal invoicing processes.
• Conduct client consultations and enrollment meetings on-site or at client locations.
• Act with integrity, caring, and excellence to achieve win-win outcomes.
