Job summary

Acrisure is seeking an Employee Benefits Account Manager for our Washington office to serve the Pacific Northwest. Account Managers act as primary client contacts, develop coverage strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure client needs are met.

This role emphasizes client service, data accuracy, and proactive communication. Ideal candidates will have an active Health & Life license, at least 2 years in employee benefits, and strong skills in Microsoft Word/Outlook/Excel.

Qualifications

• Active Health & Life License required.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal abilities.
• Mathematical skills for calculating discounts, premiums, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
• Reasoning skills to solve practical problems and interpret varied instructions.
• Applied Systems / EPIC experience is a plus.
• Employee Navigator experience is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in employee benefits.

Responsibilities

• Service client accounts, including quotes, policy issuance, ID cards, endorsements, certificates, renewals, follow-up, and correspondence.
• Respond to client inquiries and company requests promptly.
• Develop coverage strategies and plans as needed.
• Engage in insurance marketing and sales activities.
• Collect renewal data on assigned accounts.
• Provide claims support.
• Review new/renewal policies and endorsements for accuracy.
• Maintain client data in Applied Systems / EPIC.
• Document all activities in Applied Systems / EPIC.
• Utilize upload/download/interface technology.
• Support other departments in securing information for appropriate policies.
• Keep Producers informed of important activities and potential issues.
• Stay current with industry trends through seminars and training.
