Job summary

Capstone Search Group is seeking an experienced Employee Benefits Account Manager for a 100% remote role serving the Mid-Atlantic region (Virginia, Maryland, and D.C.). Travel to client sites and team meetings is expected.

You will partner with the sales team on client service delivery, retention, and plan execution, and support sophisticated, large accounts, many of which are self-funded. Requires 3–4 years in group health and welfare insurance and an active state license.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of group health and welfare insurance experience in a client service role.
• Active state insurance license.
• Experience supporting the Mid-Atlantic region (Virginia, Maryland, D.C.) is a plus.

About the Role

100% remote for an experienced Employee Benefits Account Manager. Supporting an agency’s Mid-Atlantic region, specifically Virginia, Maryland, and D.C. area clients, this role requires travel to the area for in-person client visits and team meetings. Working closely with the sales team on client service delivery, retention, and plan execution, this role requires a high level of attention to detail, great team building skills, and the ability to support more sophisticated, larger accounts, many of which are self-funded.

Location: 100% remote within Maryland, Virginia, or D.C. Expect travel for client and team meetings.

Experience: At least 3-4 years of group health and welfare insurance industry experience in a similar client service role + an active state insurance license.
