Overview

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Employee Benefits Account Manager to join a dynamic Employee Benefits team. This role is pivotal in managing mid-to-large accounts, ensuring client satisfaction, and delivering exceptional service. Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of employee benefits accounts, including medical, dental, vision, life, and ancillary lines.
• Handle accounts ranging from 50 to 500 lives, with a focus on mid-to-large-sized clients.
• Oversee self-funded and level-funded plans, including stop-loss coverage, claims funding, plan document requirements, and renewals.
• Collaborate with carriers, stop-loss vendors, and benefit partners to address claims-related issues and coordinate pre-renewal processes.
• Present to clients as needed, ensuring a clear understanding of their benefits plans and options.

Qualifications

• Active Life & Health (L&H) license in Texas is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in employee benefits, with a strong focus on self-funded and level-funded plans.
• Proficiency in managing mid-to-large accounts and a deep understanding of funding arrangements, renewals, and claims reporting.
• Familiarity with software tools such as ImageRight, BenefitPoint, and Employee Navigator.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Experience with captive arrangements is a plus.
