Qualifications

About This Opportunity

As an Account Manager, you will service an assigned book of employee benefits clients. You may also provide support to other members of the account management team as needed.

In This Role, You Will

  1. Support Account Executive in servicing assigned benefits accounts.
  2. Build and maintain client relationships.
  3. Provide customer service for assigned accounts, including handling emails and calls from clients, vendors, and team members.
  4. Assist clients with claims, billing, and service issues.
  5. Maintain electronic filing and data in Benefit Point system.
  6. Attend and present at client and open enrollment meetings.
  7. Prepare and deliver communication materials to clients.
  8. Review contracts and plan documents for accuracy.
  9. Prepare benchmark reports.
  10. Assist with compliance materials, including 5500s, wrap documents, and ACA reporting.
  11. Participate in new business processes.

What You Offer Us

  1. 2-5 years of experience as an Account Manager or in a similar role in employee benefits.
  2. High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
  3. Proficiency in MS Office.
  4. Excellent communication skills.
  5. Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  6. High attention to detail.
  7. Client presentation experience preferred.
  8. Life, Accident, and Health Insurance License or ability to obtain within three months.
