Employee Benefits Account Manager

Location: Elsmere, DE

Job Type: Hybrid Schedule

Salary: $50,000 - $75,000

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Employee Benefits Account Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing a book of employee benefits clients, ensuring they receive exceptional support and guidance in managing their group benefits programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients regarding their employee benefits plans
  • Manage all aspects of group benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and voluntary products
  • Coordinate renewals, open enrollments, plan changes, and quoting
  • Communicate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues and process changes
  • Prepare and review proposals, benefit summaries, and compliance documents
  • Assist with onboarding new clients and supporting implementation of new plans
  • Provide guidance and education to clients regarding benefit options and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in agency management systems

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in employee benefits account management or a related role
  • Strong knowledge of group benefits plans, underwriting, and renewal processes
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and agency management systems
  • Health & Life Insurance License
