Northeast Georgia Health System seeks an experienced Employee Assistance Program clinician to support employees and their families. The role focuses on intake assessments, brief counseling, referrals, and coordination with Human Resources to improve workplace well-being.

The position requires a Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Family Therapy and licensure in GA (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) with 2–4 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

  • Georgia license in Social Work (LCSW), Georgia license in Professional Counseling (LPC), or Marriage & Family Therapists (LMFT).
  • Master's degree in social work, Counseling/Psychology, or Marriage & Family Therapy.
  • 2–4 years’ experience providing adults mental health care in two or more areas: EAP, mental health, behavioral health, marriage and family therapy, substance abuse treatment.
  • Knowledge of federal and state labor law including EEOC, FMLA, and ADA.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct intake assessments for referred employees and dependents.
  • Provide short-term counseling, crisis intervention, and referral linkage; document appropriately.
  • Consult with Human Resources and department leadership; coach managers on referrals to EAP.
  • Deliver trainings on Stress Management, Conflict Resolution, Team Building, Diversity.
  • Assist in expanding EAP operations and participate in program development.
