Job summary

Goodwill West Texas is seeking a FT Hourly Clerical at the Abilene Career Center to support clients in overcoming barriers to employment. The Employee and Community Resource Specialist builds professional relationships, provides coaching, and connects individuals to internal and external resources to promote self-sufficiency, employment stability, and long-term success.

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED equivalency required.
• A college degree in a human services, social work or related field is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Some Human Resources Experience Is Preferred.
• One year full-time experience performing job training or case management, or workforce development services preferred.

• Valid Texas Drivers License and good driving record.
• Ability to handle sensitive situations and confidential information.
• Ability to travel as needed.
