Job summary

Abilene Goodwill Industries is seeking an Employment & Resource Specialist to help job seekers identify goals, build resumes, and prepare for opportunities in Abilene, TX. You will develop individualized plans and connect clients to training, resources, and employers to improve outcomes.

You will track progress, maintain records, and collaborate with local partners to advocate for participants and expand job opportunities in the West Texas community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Texas driver's license with good driving record.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

Your Mission

Responsibilities

You'll:

• Help job seekers and employees identify goals, build skills, create resumes, and prepare for employment opportunities.


• Develop Individualized Employment Plans that help clients move from where they are to where they want to be.


• Connect people with resources, training, employers, and community partners that can help them succeed.


• Keep accurate records and track outcomes so we can measure the difference we\'re making.


• Build relationships with employers and community organizations that open doors for our participants.


• Represent Goodwill West Texas in the community and advocate for the people we serve.
