Qualifications

• Two years' experience in an acute care hospital, chart abstraction, and/or other regulatory review, medical record or Quality Department in a professional capacity.
• Demonstrated experience with QCI concepts, tools and techniques.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accuracy of the Enterprise Master Patient Index (EMPI).
• Coordinate MPI corrections and verify data integrity.
• Monitor correction requests via queues and notifications.
• Participate in Cerner migration planning, prepping, and testing.
• Notify downstream departments of data corrections as appropriate.
• Compile monthly MPI statistics and reports.
