Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients, families, and visitors with professionalism and empathy.
• Register patients accurately and collect demographic, insurance, and financial information.
• Obtain patient signatures on consent forms and privacy notices.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits; update records accordingly.
• Determine and collect co-pays, deductibles, or deposits; explain financial aid programs.
• Collaborate with clinical and security teams to maintain efficient patient flow.
• Enter and maintain patient data in the EMR and registration systems, correcting duplicates.
• Respond to patient inquiries with sensitivity to diverse situations.
• Stay informed on payer guidelines and hospital policies.
• Support process improvements and assist in training staff; provide backup during high-volume periods.
• Other duties as needed.
