Job summary

Summit Business Group is seeking a Direct Sales Representative to build relationships with business owners in your territory and present tailored supplemental insurance solutions. You will balance cold outreach with warm leads, manage a personal book of business, and coordinate visits aligned with client hours.

The role emphasizes field-based, in-person engagements, CRM-driven sales tracking, and ongoing client support through the claims process.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales or customer-facing roles, with outside sales preferred.
• Ability to conduct full training cycles, including in-person and online sessions.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
• Willingness to obtain Health & Life license within 90 days (licensing support provided).

Responsibilities

• Build long-lasting relationships with business owners and stakeholders.
• Set follow-up appointments and review client needs.
• Call on new businesses and resell to existing clients.
• Develop and manage your own book of business.
• Meet monthly/quarterly sales targets with your manager.
