Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of call-center based customer service experience.
• At least two years of data entry and data quality.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Handle patient interactions via phone with prompt, polite communication.
• Guide clients through scheduling with professionalism and empathy.
• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments across programs.
• Enter and verify patient data in the EHR at scheduling.
• Screen clients for sliding fee scale or fund eligibility.
• Educate clients on Canvas Health services and programs.
• Coordinate with clinicians and case managers on scheduling needs.
• Prepare electronic intake packets prior to initial appointments.
