LIFE, Inc. in Edenton, NC is seeking a part-time Group Home Worker to support individuals with daily living activities and encourage independence. You will provide compassionate care, assist with meals, personal care, housekeeping and transportation, working closely with an interdisciplinary team to promote safety and well-being.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid North Carolina Driver's License required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• No prior experience required; comprehensive training provided.
• Part-time shifts available (1st and 2nd shifts).

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance during dressing, bathing, and toileting.
• Support meals and promote social engagement during family-style dining.
• Assist with housekeeping tasks, including clothing care, household cleaning, and yard maintenance.
• Prepare meals and nutritional supplements as directed to ensure proper nourishment.
• Administer prescribed medications accurately and monitor reactions or side effects.
• Follow prescribed diet plans and assist with adaptive equipment as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain detailed data collection.
• Support clients in active treatment programs and document progress toward goals.
• Communicate client information with the interdisciplinary team as directed by supervisors.
• Transport clients safely using company vehicles for appointments and outings.
• Accompany and supervise clients during community activities, school, and day programs.
• Perform additional duties to promote client well-being and program success.
