Job summary

Siemens is seeking a motivated student for its eMobility Internship Program based in Atlanta, GA. This twelve‑week on‑site experience allows you to apply classroom knowledge to real‑world engineering challenges in a collaborative, global team.

You will work on embedded and cloud‑connected products, IoT devices, and cross‑functional projects spanning R&D, solutions engineering, manufacturing, and sustainability. Relocation may be needed; housing stipend may be provided.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science and approaching completion of the required educational credentials for this opportunity.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work full‑time (40 hours/week) on‑site from May to August.
• Willing to relocate to Atlanta, GA for the duration of the internship and travel as required. Mileage reimbursement and housing stipend will be provided if required to relocate more than 50 miles from your permanent address.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
• This internship is a structured experiential learning program for individuals currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program who will continue their studies following the assignment. Current and continuing enrollment is a condition of participation. Applicants who have completed or expect to complete their educational program before or during the assignment period are encouraged to explore our Early Career Development Program opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the development of embedded, cloud‑connected products, hardware, cloud computing technologies, and digital Internet of Things (IoT) devices.
• Contributing to projects across functions such as research and development, solutions engineering, applications engineering, manufacturing engineering, and sustainability engineering.
• Applying classroom knowledge and hands‑on problem‑solving skills to real‑world engineering and technology challenges.
• Collaborating with teams while gaining exposure to specialized training, digital tools, customer interactions, and change management activities.
• Developing practical experience in a global technology organization while supporting projects that deliver meaningful business and customer impact.
