Job summary

The Emissions Lab at Nissan Motor Corporation in Farmington Hills, MI seeks an Emissions Test Lab Technician to support vehicle emissions and performance testing in our development lab. You will prepare vehicles for testing, instrument them, operate chassis dynamometers, collect data, and maintain lab equipment to ensure accurate results.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Automotive Technology, or related field required.
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Instrument vehicles and prepare them for emissions and performance testing.
• Conduct vehicle testing on chassis dynamometers and ensure data accuracy.
• Read, interpret, and execute complex test plans and procedures.
• Support engineers with troubleshooting, root cause investigations, and corrective actions.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure test readiness.
• Prepare accurate and detailed test reports for engineering review.
