Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. in Gilbert, AZ, seeks an EMI/C Systems Engineer – Level 2 to lead EMI/C testing and design efforts across components to systems. The role requires a Top Secret security clearance and active program access.

You will develop models, run tests, and prepare qualification reports. The position emphasizes collaboration, travel within the corporation, and adherence to MIL-STD and DO-160 standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 2+ years engineering experience OR
• Master's degree in a STEM discipline
• Technical knowledge of EMI/C test qualification, engineering, evaluation and testing
• Active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance (or equivalent) at time of application and prior to start date; SSBI within last 5 years; willingness to obtain/maintain SCI access

Responsibilities

• Reviews and tailors EMI/C test requirements to meet product and system performance for EMI/C compliance
• Develops/designs models for interference coupling, shielding, and interface isolation to mitigate emissions and susceptibility
• Performs EMI/EMC testing, analysis, mitigation and troubleshooting from components to systems level
• Designs test apparatus and methodologies related to EMI/C and RF testing
• Develops work Instructions for mechanical/electromechanical systems and controls
• Processes EMI/C test data and prepares qualification test procedures and reports
