Job summary

Baltimore Aircoil Company, Inc. seeks a Manager, Emerging Technologies to lead a cross-disciplinary team advancing next-generation cooling technologies. You will drive project portfolio execution, resource planning, and talent development to sustain BAC’s growth.

The role requires strong engineering leadership, program management, and collaboration with internal and external partners to deliver high-impact technical outputs in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related Engineering field required.
• 10+ years of engineering experience in R&D and new product development environments, including at least 2 years of formal leadership.
• Experience in thermal-fluid systems engineering, heat transfer, or related domains.
• Experience working in cross-functional engineering environments.
• Strong engineering judgment and ability to manage technical uncertainty and risk.
• Ability to lead technical teams and deliver complex projects successfully.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Emerging Technologies team, establishing priorities, allocating resources, and developing technical capability and team effectiveness.
• Champion a culture of innovation, collaboration, accountability, and technical excellence.
• Manage a portfolio of Emerging Technologies projects, ensuring safe, on-time, on-budget, and high-quality execution.
• Develop and maintain the Emerging Technologies resource plan, project roadmap, and talent development plan.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners to align priorities and resolve execution challenges.
• Drive continuous improvement of project management practices, technical methods, processes, tools, and standards.
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members while holding individuals accountable.
