Job summary

AVEVA seeks a Distinguished Technology Strategist to shape our Emerging Tech roadmap in the US. You’ll identify and evaluate new tech trends, translate insights into strategic guidance, and partner with R&D, product, and architecture to steer long-term investments and innovation.

Based in San Leandro with hybrid work, you’ll influence senior stakeholders and craft technology POVs and playbooks that drive AVEVA’s product strategy and customer value.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in technology strategy or similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of AI/ML, industrial IoT, cloud data platforms, edge, OSS.
• Ability to analyze complex topics into clear guidance.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders across orgs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and exec audiences.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess emerging technologies influencing product strategy.
• Translate exploration into strategic recommendations and priorities.
• Partner with Fellows, product leaders, and R&D to align trends.
• Develop POVs, frameworks, and playbooks for teams.
• Communicate findings to enable cross-functional decision-making.
