Job summary

AVEVA is seeking a Distinguished Technology Strategist to join its Emerging Technology function in the United States. You will identify, evaluate, and prioritize emerging technologies that can transform AVEVA's product strategy, architecture, and customer value, partnering with Research, Product, Architecture, and Strategy teams to translate early insights into actionable recommendations.

• 10+ years of experience in technology strategy, emerging technology research, or similar senior leadership roles.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML, industrial IoT, cloud data platforms, edge architectures, open-source ecosystems.
• Proven ability to translate complex topics into clear guidance for executives.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess emerging technologies with potential to influence AVEVA’s long-term strategy.
• Translate technical exploration into business-relevant insights and investment priorities.
• Partner with Fellows, product leaders, and R&D to align trends with AVEVA’s roadmap.
• Develop technology POVs, frameworks, and playbooks for teams.
• Communicate findings to enable informed decision-making across the organization.
