Job summary

Dominion Energy is seeking a candidate to work on research and development activities related to Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies such as IoT, AR/VR, and Digital Twins. The role involves collaboration with IT, product teams, and security groups to evaluate tools, develop POV solutions, and deploy in the company’s private cloud.

The position requires 1–2 years in programming, IoT, and AR/VR, plus a bachelor’s in a relevant field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in one of: Business, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Mathematics.
• 1–2 years of programming and systems analysis experience.
• 1–2 years of IoT implementations experience.
• 1–2 years of AR/VR solutions experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop POV solutions with emerging technologies in a sandbox environment to solve business problems.
• Evaluate commercial solutions from functional, technical, and risk standpoints.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate emerging tech into existing systems and workflows.
• Code, test, and deploy modular and scalable solutions with architects and analysts.
