Job summary

KeyBank is seeking a Risk Manager for Emerging Technology Risk within Commercial Bank. You will govern technology, AI, and risk controls across digital platforms and initiatives, ensuring alignment with risk appetite.

You will lead risk assessments, challenge control design, and collaborate with business, technology, and risk partners to drive responsible innovation in a highly regulated setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; industry experience preferred.
• Experience in risk management, first line risk, governance, or risk oversight.
• Working knowledge of Technology / Artificial Intelligence Risk Governance.
• Experience in regulated industry, preferably Banking or Financial Services.
• Knowledge of technology risk, cybersecurity risk, digital platform risk, operational resilience, and control design.
• Experience with automated business solutions and evaluating control design.
• Experience supporting regulatory exams, audits, or control reviews.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, Python, and SQL; Salesforce and PowerPoint preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide first line oversight of technology, cybersecurity, digital platform, and AI risk.
• Lead risk assessments for new technology initiatives and AI use cases.
• Evaluate and automate controls across processes.
• Monitor incidents, outages, and model breakdowns; support remediation.
• Partner with risk and business teams to enhance governance and resilience.
• Assess AI use cases for data protection, model accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop governance processes, risk assessments, dashboards, and executive materials.
• Support change management ensuring risks and regulatory requirements are addressed.
