Job summary

Peraton is hiring an Emerging Technology Systems Engineer (emphasis on AI) to join our Cyber Mission unit in Jessup, MD. The role supports a major enterprise engineering contract for the Intelligence Community, requiring 1880 hours/year at a customer location.

The position involves developing SE documentation, planning artifacts, and coordinating with interagency partners, with a TS/SCI clearance and polygraph required to access classified information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or related discipline plus at least 10 years of systems engineering experience.
• Master’s or PhD may substitute for two years; high school diploma or GED plus 14 years acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and formalize systems engineering documentation (e.g., SE Plans, Requirements specs, Interface Control Documents).
• Plan, monitor, and generate SE artifacts to support technology transition into/out of capabilities architecture.
• Coordinate collaboration with interagency partners and assist in policy documentation of relationships.
