Job summary

Peraton is seeking an Emerging Technology Systems Engineer (emphasis on AI) to join our Cyber Mission team in Jessup, MD. This on-site, full-time role supports a major enterprise contract within the Intelligence Community and requires 1880 hours per year at a customer location.

You will help establish approaches, develop SE documentation, and coordinate with interagency partners to drive technology transition and policy alignment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS/engineering with 10+ years of systems engineering experience.
Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
Operational experience with customer systems.
Experience with IC customers and mission infrastructures.

Responsibilities

Support development of systems engineering documentation (SE Plans, Requirements specs, Interface Control Documents).
Plan, monitor and generate SE artifacts to facilitate technology transition.
Lead and document decisions with government stakeholders to accomplish work.
Coordinate collaboration with interagency and partners; assist in policy documentation.

Skills

Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph

Operational experience with customer/직

Education

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering

Master’s degree or PhD may substitute for two years of experience

High school diploma or GED plus 14 years of systems engineering experience
