Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Computer Network Support Systems Engineer to join our Cyber Mission team at Fort Meade, Maryland. This full-time role requires 1880 hours/year at a customer location, with responsibilities spanning systems engineering, agile practices, and AI/ML initiatives.

The candidate will engage in architecture proposals, coordinate deployments, and manage cross-functional programs while maintaining Jira/Confluence usage and documented processes. A TS/SCI with poly is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree in CS/IS/Engineering or related field plus 6+ years systems engineering experience.
• Master's/PhD may substitute for 2 years of experience.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence agile tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide systems engineering and project management expertise for AI/ML architecture proposals and deployments.
• Coordinate interactions on AI/ML deployments with the customer enterprise.
• Assist program management planning, execution, and reporting across software, sustainment, and advanced tech initiatives.
• Support agile development processes and tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Develop, document, and improve processes to be reliable and repeatable.
