Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an experienced Store Manager or equivalent to supervise customer service associates and oversee front-end operations across Pharmacy and Retail Store. You will support the Store Manager, lead budgeting, scheduling, training, and drive store profitability while ensuring regulatory compliance and exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (any major) or Walgreens internship program, or HS diploma with 2 years supervisory experience.
• Proven leadership, ethics, self-motivation, and strong communication and business acumen.
• Completion of Store Manager training LEAP or Walgreens Leadership Essentials within 12 weeks (if placed in ESM).
• Fluency in English reading/writing/speaking (except Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.
• Ability to transfer to other Walgreens retail assets within the same hiring area.

Responsibilities

• Supervise customer service associates and front-end operations to improve store sales and profitability.
• Lead and coach team in front-end and pharmacy, develop improvement plans, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Manage scheduling, shifts, time records, and coverage; delegate tasks.
• Support Store Manager with store operations and district initiatives; collaborate with external partners.
• Monitor store cash handling, inventory, and pricing changes; implement SOPs.
• Lead training, performance management, and talent development.
• Ensure safety, policies, and regulatory compliance; respond to emergencies.
• Communicate store strategies to the team.
