Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Store Manager/Operations Leader to supervise customer service associates, front-end operations, and pharmacy support. You will drive store performance, coach team members, and ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.

You will partner with the Store Manager to deliver company deliverables, manage scheduling and staffing, and develop a high-performing team across both front-end and pharmacy operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or Walgreens internship program, or two years of supervisory experience without direct reports.
• Proven leadership, ethics, self-motivation, and strong business acumen.
• Willingness to complete Store Manager training (LEAP) or Walgreens Leadership Essentials within 12 weeks of start.
• Fluent in English (reading/writing/speaking).
• Flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekends.
• Willingness to relocate for promotion to Store Manager, if offered.
• Ability to transfer to other Walgreens retail assets within the same area.

Responsibilities

• Supervises customer service associates and front-end operations.
• Supports Store Manager to achieve store deliverables and oversees store activities in absence of the Store Manager.
• Leads recruitment, hiring, performance management, and discipline of team members.
• Directs customer experience improvements by coaching front-end and pharmacy staff.
• Manages store operations, scheduling, cash handling, inventory, and compliance with laws.
