Job summary

Walgreens in the United States seeks an experienced Store Manager to supervise customer service associates, front-end operations, and pharmacy/retail store performance. You will support the Store Manager and cover store activities as needed.

You will lead recruitment, training, accountability, inventory, safety, merchandising, and compliance, driving sales and profitability while ensuring excellent customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a solid academic record or completion of Walgreens Community Internship Program.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities including professional business ethics, self-motivation, and strong communication skills.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.
• Willingness to accept promotion into a Store Manager position and potential relocation within Walgreens network.

Responsibilities

• Supervises customer service associates and designated hitters; manages front end and pharmacy operations.
• Leads recruitment, training, performance management, and discipline for direct reports.
• Analyzes financial and performance data and drives store improvement initiatives.
• Ensures store merchandising, asset protection, safety, and regulatory compliance.
