Job summary

Walgreens in Lincolnwood, IL seeks a Store Operations Leader to supervise customer service associates and the front end, while supporting Pharmacy and Retail Store operations. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or completion of Walgreens Community Internship Program or HS Diploma with 2 years supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated leadership, strong communication, and business acumen.
• Completion of Store Manager training program LEAP or willingness to complete Walgreens Leadership Essentials within 12 weeks of ESM start date.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English and willing to work flexible hours.
• Willingness to relocate to a different Walgreens store if promotion is offered.
• Ability to transfer to other Walgreens retail assets within the same hiring area.

Responsibilities

• Supervises customer service associates and designated hitters to ensure store deliverables.
• Leads store operations including scheduling, opening/closing, and cash handling oversight.
• Collaborates with Store Manager and District Manager on strategy and performance metrics.
• Monitors inventory, pricing, and merchandising; trains staff on SOPs.
• Supports Pharmacy and Retail Store operations during busy periods.
• Manages team performance, recruitment, coaching, and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Ensures policy compliance and safety across operations.
