Verisk is seeking an Emerging Issues Research Analyst in Jersey City, NJ. The role focuses on identifying and contextualizing emerging risks for property/casualty audiences and translating deep research into polished narratives for presentations and written reports.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, deliver insights through workshops, webinars, and conferences, and stay current on industry trends while supporting risk identification. Travel ~15% is expected.

Competenze

• 5+ years in the property/casualty market with experience in either underwriting, claims, or forms product development.
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills and executive presence.
• Industry accreditation (i.e. CPCU) preferred but not required.
• The ability to conduct deep research using academic sources across a variety of subjects and distill that information into insurance-relevant presentations and reports.
• Solid proficiency of PowerPoint required
• Proficiency with data visualization tools preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Project management skills.
• Ability to set and meet commitments in high production environment to achieve tight deadlines and quality expectations.

• Researching and delivering presentations on emerging risks for a p/c insurance audience—in 1:1 customer workshops (on-site or virtual); at webinars; at industry conferences.
• Coordinating research efforts across multiple Verisk business units.
