Verisk Analytics, Inc. is seeking an actuarial professional to join the Actuarial Initiatives team in New Jersey. The role emphasizes influencing pricing and product decisions across Personal Auto, Homeowners, and other lines, while modernizing rating relativities and architecture.

You will analyze market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks to deliver actionable insights, support filings, and develop new tools that translate data into strategic guidance for insurers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related discipline.
• At least two years of property and casualty actuarial experience is desired; personal lines and/or pricing experience is preferred.
• Completion of at least three actuarial exams.
• Strong analytical capabilities, with experience interpreting both quantitative and qualitative data.
• A self‑motivated approach and the ability to contribute effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Clear, confident verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with SQL, Python, and/or R.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
